Kue pukis or simply called Pukis is an Indonesian kue or traditional snack made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special mold pan. It is a commonly found snack in Indonesian traditional markets. The mold pan is similar to muffin tin but has rectangular basins instead of rounded.
Prepare the pukis mold and heat over medium heat. Molds can be smeared first with margarine. Pour the dough into the pukis cake mold until it is almost full. If the pukis cake is almost cooked can include a sprinkle of mesis and grated cheese on top. Once cooked, the edges of the dough dry, the pukis cake is ready to be lifted.
