Kolang-kaling (roof fruit) is the name of a chewy snack in the shape of an oblong shape and transparent white color and has a refreshing taste. Kolang kaling which in Dutch is commonly called glibbertjes which literally means “small slippery objects” is made from the seeds of palm trees (Arenga pinnata) that are flat and gummy.
