Krupuk or kerupuk or kroepoek is an Indonesian deep fried cracker made from starch and other ingredients that serve as flavouring. It’s a type of Javanese crackers that is popular in Indonesia, and later other countries via Javanese diasporas. Kroepoek also can be found in the Netherlands, through their historic colonial ties with Indonesia.
